There is something you should be aware of when setting up Account Engagement (formerly Pardot).
That is, Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) cannot handle consecutive form submissions.
For example, an autoresponder can be set up to send an autoresponder when a form is passed, but if a form is passed twice in a row (and different information is entered), the information entered in the second pass may appear in the autoresponder’s insert field.
This is caused by the processing speed at which the autoresponder is sent. The process of sending an auto-response e-mail occurs when a form is passed, and it may take from 1 minute to a maximum of 10 minutes before the e-mail is actually sent. Suppose that the form is passed twice in a row, what would happen if both auto-reply e-mails are sent 10 minutes after the form is passed?
Actually, in such a case, the prospect’s value will be overwritten by the second form pass before the auto-response email is sent. As a result, the value entered the first time will not remain on the prospect, and the value entered the second time will appear in the autoresponder for the first form pass.
In fact, Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) has a feature that prevents a form from being passed for 10 minutes. I honestly believe that this implies that the autoresponder cannot be sent if the form is passed through continuously.
Some companies often prepare a large number of catalog download forms, and I think it is quite common for customers to pass through the forms in succession. However, as mentioned above, Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) is not very good at continuous form passing!
